howdy y'all!
Howdy! I'm a newcomer to the island, just got assigned to Schofield Barracks. I originate from Madison, WI. I play Imperial Guard in Warhammer 40K, though I much prefer the painting aspect than the actual playing. I also play D&D, along with various D20 varients. Right now I'm looking for some decent game stores around post, and some fellow painters on the island to get in touch with and swap ideas and bits with. I look foward to posting online here often. Welcome, welcome! I'm sure there are people here who can help you with finding a nearby store and with painting! If you're free this Saturday, if you can make it to Ward Warehouse in Honolulu, there is an all day gaming event happening courtesy of "Other Realms" store. Our friend Kenneth 'Tsai Tien' will have a table open where he helps painters and provides painting space for interested people. Hope to see you there, and may you enjoy your time in the islands!

Welcome.
Nice to have another person who has a preference for painting!  Not that there's anything wrong with playing, but most people "only" paint to be able to play. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your work. I Hope you can make it to Games Day and I hope you bring your painted work. FYI, on Games Day there is a painting contest that you can enter your figures in, I hope you enter some figures.

Hi Miller11B! Hope everything worked out tonight and that you enjoyed your trip to Other Realms! Sorry I had to leave before you got there, I had snagged a ride with someone who didn't have much time.
You definitely get my vote as a 'Good Trader'! You are friendly, polite, communicate well and very honest. Hope you will be able to join in at one of the store's open gaming when you return from your training in a month. Be safe, and have a great time! Gerry
